Still behind....2nd Jackson Trip

So at the end of the summer, we had another chance to go to Jackson for a quick weekend. Todd went backpacking with Shane, so I brought Jaclyn up for a fun visit. She had never been to Jackson for a vacation so we had to do all the touristy things! It was nice too cus Gma and Gpa were willing to watch Max while I went and played!
Of course we went downtown... (There is an inside joke about the Cowboy, too long to explain!)
And to the alpine slide...
And to String Lake...
We jumped off the jump rock even though it took about 20 min to jump! :)

Loading up the canoe!
We had a blast! We enjoyed a yummy dinner with my mom and dad that night as well! Thanks for helping out with Max mom and dad! It was a nice break :)
P.S. I will do a post on Todd's backpacking trip when I get the pix from him! He has some pretty cool pictures from his trip!

A 4th of July to remember!

So I'm still catching up on summer posts, it will take a while I'm sure. Anyhow, We got to have a few fun days up at Bear Lake for the 4th of July. My good friend Jaclyn invited our family to go up to her cabin. Unfortunately Todd had to work part of the time, but he still made it up for some fun times! We filled the days FULL, literally. We...

...double skiied/wakeboard
...Todd and his professional looking slalem shot
...took funny pix
...roasted marshmallows and watched fireworks
...extreme tubing!
...the guys was a little more extreme than ours :)
....and we chilled and had fun. We also ate lots and lots of good food, thanks to Mai, Jac's stepmom who made delish food! We also watched fireworks every night shoot off over the lake. What a great 4th! Thanks Jac and Fam for making it so memorable!

Bits and Pieces of Summer '11

Jackson Hole Trip #1!!
So I have been sooooo behind on the blogging this summer! I have been so stinkin' busy! Anyway, I thought I would start where I left off...my first trip to Jackson Hole this summer. I went up there without Todd for a few days, so it was just mama's and babies! We had fun up there, G and G May spoiled us and we got to have lots of fun! Max loved playing with his older cousin Jaxon, and wants to be just like him someday! :)
They jumped on the tramp...
....and played in the playhouse...
...and played with Papa May...
...and we jumped on the bed!...
...and went hiking and biking...
...and had bath time together...
...We had so much fun! Mom and Dad got us tickets to the Jackson Hole Playhouse where 7 brides for 7 brothers was playing and it was AWESOME as usual! Thanks for a fun trip mom and dad! We had a blast!

Kristi and Hazel came to Play!

Last month, Kristi and Hazel came out to visit for 2 whole weeks! We had so much fun! Max loved having a little buddy to play with :) We got in quite a bit of stuff considering that we all got the stomach flu thanks to our family who picked it up somewhere and spread it throughout the whole Geddes clan. Fortunately, Kristi never got it!

We went to the Drive-in one night...Max LOVED it!!
And so did Hazel, they loved the back of the truck full of pillows!!
Rollin around and having fun!
The family :)
G and G Geddes with baby Max.

My little Max...
Tuckered out from playing with me and Hazel!
Grandpa Geddes and Max
Play, play, play! Always got something in their mouths!
More play!
Peek-a-boo!
Playing in the sprinklers!
Pushing the stroller around the statue museum we went to in Salt Lake.
A small portion of the Geddes grandkids
At the Children's Museum in the Gateway....Max LOVED it there!
The helicopter on the roof of the museum. Max wants to be a pilot just like daddy! Max=pilot, Hazel=copilot :)
The Gateway splash pad. Hazel LOVED it, Max loved it until he got hit in the face and then he was terrified!

Hangin out at the house, chillin with Aunt Beth.
Max got so spoiled those two weeks cause we played nonstop! We had picnics at the park, made a trip to the Aquarium, BBQ with the fam, girls night out at the movies, drive-in, Gateway fun, Statue museum, sprinklers in the backyard...am I forgetting anything??? How fun! Thanks Kristi and Hazel for such a fun time.

1 has come and gone...

So my little baby Max has officially turned one. He is our little peanut and he has sooooo much energy. He loves to play outside, go hiking, biking, swimming and on stroller rides. He is definitely an outdoor boy! So, we thought we better take him to do something he loves for his Birthday. Unfortunately it was raining :( But we made the best of it and went swimming! The pool was a little chilly but we had fun anyway. Check out the video at the end...

Later that night, because it was Memorial Day on his birthday, we celebrated with Todd's whole big family. Julie and Bryce were even in town! We had a little dinner and I made a cake ball cake....attempted it anyway. They sure did taste yummy and Max enjoyed his first taste of cake! However, I think he is more of a fruity dessert person like his daddy. I guess I'm the only chocolate lover in the home :)

My cake ball cake...

Getting ready to blow out his candle...however, all his cousins kept beating him to it :)
Yum :)
Over his birthday weekend, we also took him to Litzas, Todd's favorite pizza place on earth. Max is a fan now too :)

I just wanted to say how much I love baby Max. I won't lie, this last year has been really rough and Max is not an easy baby by any means, however, he still has a huge part of my heart. I love that little boy to death and I never knew how much you could really love until that little guy came along. He brings joy to my life every day with his sweet smiles, giggles, excitement, and energy that he carries in him. My mom always told me I had so much enthusiasm for life and I see that in Max as well. He has a lot of love to give and I am so excited to see what kind of boy he turns into. We love you Max! Happy first Birthday!
