Well I will answer that question for you!....you make a classic music video!! So I have to give you a little history behind this one. My friend Jaclyn and I have discovered we have a common interest. That common interest is the movie "Grease 2". No, not Grease with Danny and Sandy, but Grease 2 with Michael and Stephanie. We both LOVE the movie, know every song and decided to do our two favorite songs. Still behind....2nd Jackson Trip

So at the end of the summer, we had another chance to go to Jackson for a quick weekend. Todd went backpacking with Shane, so I brought Jaclyn up for a fun visit. She had never been to Jackson for a vacation so we had to do all the touristy things! It was nice too cus Gma and Gpa were willing to watch Max while I went and played!

Of course we went downtown... (There is an inside joke about the Cowboy, too long to explain!)

A 4th of July to remember!

So I'm still catching up on summer posts, it will take a while I'm sure. Anyhow, We got to have a few fun days up at Bear Lake for the 4th of July. My good friend Jaclyn invited our family to go up to her cabin. Unfortunately Todd had to work part of the time, but he still made it up for some fun times! We filled the days FULL, literally. We...

played on the boat... the boys and their amazing backflips :)

...played a good game of softball with a kickball
...road on the boat (Max LOVED it!)

...played all kinds of games...ALL kinds!
...played dress up
...played the game Quelf! Hilarious game if you couldn't tell by Todd's head wrapped in TP.

....and we chilled and had fun. We also ate lots and lots of good food, thanks to Mai, Jac's stepmom who made delish food! We also watched fireworks every night shoot off over the lake. What a great 4th! Thanks Jac and Fam for making it so memorable!

Jackson Hole Trip #1!!

So I have been sooooo behind on the blogging this summer! I have been so stinkin' busy! Anyway, I thought I would start where I left off...my first trip to Jackson Hole this summer. I went up there without Todd for a few days, so it was just mama's and babies! We had fun up there, G and G May spoiled us and we got to have lots of fun! Max loved playing with his older cousin Jaxon, and wants to be just like him someday! :)

Kristi and Hazel came to Play!

Last month, Kristi and Hazel came out to visit for 2 whole weeks! We had so much fun! Max loved having a little buddy to play with :) We got in quite a bit of stuff considering that we all got the stomach flu thanks to our family who picked it up somewhere and spread it throughout the whole Geddes clan. Fortunately, Kristi never got it!

So my little baby Max has officially turned one. He is our little peanut and he has sooooo much energy. He loves to play outside, go hiking, biking, swimming and on stroller rides. He is definitely an outdoor boy! So, we thought we better take him to do something he loves for his Birthday. Unfortunately it was raining :( But we made the best of it and went swimming! The pool was a little chilly but we had fun anyway. Check out the video at the end...

Later that night, because it was Memorial Day on his birthday, we celebrated with Todd's whole big family. Julie and Bryce were even in town! We had a little dinner and I made a cake ball cake....attempted it anyway. They sure did taste yummy and Max enjoyed his first taste of cake! However, I think he is more of a fruity dessert person like his daddy. I guess I'm the only chocolate lover in the home :)

Over his birthday weekend, we also took him to Litzas, Todd's favorite pizza place on earth. Max is a fan now too :)

I just wanted to say how much I love baby Max. I won't lie, this last year has been really rough and Max is not an easy baby by any means, however, he still has a huge part of my heart. I love that little boy to death and I never knew how much you could really love until that little guy came along. He brings joy to my life every day with his sweet smiles, giggles, excitement, and energy that he carries in him. My mom always told me I had so much enthusiasm for life and I see that in Max as well. He has a lot of love to give and I am so excited to see what kind of boy he turns into. We love you Max! Happy first Birthday!

Julie Parker, name may sound familiar because she was the one who did my shoot for the magazine when I was pregnant, shot these pics below. St. George Volleyball Tourney!

So I am a little behind on my blogging but thought, better now than never right?! In March my teammates and I headed down to St. George for a volleyball tourney. It was sooooo fun! We had a blast and believe it or not, we took first place!...never done that before with this particular team! So we were pretty excited!

To explain the picture below, we decided our favorite good luck cheer was, "not suck". So we named ourselves Team Not Suck. This was our sign for it... I know, we are weird. But hey, it sure worked!

It ended up being a horribly windy and rainy night when we finally got around to shooting. I haven't seen any of the pictures except these two so far. But I had to post them because I LOVED them! The beginning of Spring

So this March I turned 26. Woo! Crazy, on the downhill side of my 20's! Bummer huh?! Anway, Todd has been crazy busy working at Whirlybirds and I don't see him much. But on his little bit of down time he manages to do something sweet for me! I haven't been snowboarding in two years because of pregnancy and well, now having a kid makes it a LOT harder to get up on the mountain! So, Todd took me night skiing up at Powder mountain. Man it felt good to go again!! I sure have missed it! He has promised me for 6 years he would make me my favorite cake, yellow cake with chocolate frosting! HA, I know I know, kind of boring. But I sure love it! Anyhow, he finally did it! He did awesome frosting it as you can see below....

And made a wish...we'll see if it comes true :)

So I got so excited that it was warm a few weeks ago that I decided to take Max to the park. It was a little colder than I thought it would be but Max had fun! The only problem was that he wanted to eat all of the bark, rocks, and grass that he came across!

My New Found Cousin

So, here is my story...

I'm so totally excited that I have reconnected with my cousin Ashley! We have always been good friends and kept in touch, even though she lives in Oregon! But we really kind of got out of touch for while and I'm glad to say things are back on track and we are closer now than we ever have been! Funny how things work out! Sadly, the thing that brought us back together was my Grandma May's funeral...

Anyway, on a happier note, she married the COOLEST guy! His name is Don and they LOVE to have fun! They came to visit us in Ogden last year and they made the trip to Jackson this year, so we met them up there for a few days. It was a blast! My parents even babysat while we played! It was pretty fun!

It is also pretty amazing to me how much they have in common with Todd and I. We are so similar! Ashley and I could be sisters if you ask me! :) ...Anyhow, they just bought their second dog, thanks to us and our wonderful advice about the joys of having two dogs. They also bought some cross country ski's for Christmas...thanks to us and our wonderful advice about how FUN cross country skiing is! Now all they need to do is have a baby....thanks to our wonderful advice about how "fun" it is to have baby. HAHA! ya right! Anyway...story time can be over now and picture time can start.

We went cross country skiing up Snow King. The best part was going down...both Todd and Don ate it...Ashley and I, well we're May's, of course we didn't fall! :)

Santa came!!

So... Santa did make it to the May house on Christmas Eve... as you can see from the pictures:) Max and Jaxon had "supposedly" been good boys this year...if you asked Lexie and I, we may tell you otherwise! :) Anyway, we had so much fun spending this Christmas with my family. Unfortunately Leisel and her family weren't able to make it, but we had fun anyway! Max wants to be just like his older cousin Jaxon.

I was so excited I got to see my favorite friend, Jordan. Todd and I got to spend the morning with her and her boyfriend eating a yummy breakfast and then going xcountry skiing. I loved that there was so much snow up there and it made it a white Christmas for us!

So this was the first of many cool costumes for Max...especially since I have an amazing sister with an amazing talent! She makes the best Halloween costumes, especially for her 3 little girlies! Anyway, she has this theory that my other sister and I have to have a little girl for her to be able to make some cute clothes for, however, I'm going to prove her wrong. I have many great ideas on what to have her make Max, especially for Halloween! And this is the first! Simple, but adorable! ...He doesn't quite have the hair for a mohawk either but they look really similar if you as me!! Thanks Leis!

So I know it's been forever so I have a little catching up to do! This past weekend we went to visit my dad and mom up in Jackson. After our big scare with my dad's heart attack, we really wanted to go see him and make sure he was doing well! (Which he is doing much better and looks healthier than ever! Way to go Dad!) And it was fun cause Leisel and her girlies were able to make it up that weekend as well. It was kind of bad weather but we still had a lot of fun! Thanks mom and dad for the fun weekend! And thanks Leis for playing some games with me! It's been a while since I've been able to get my game fix.

We went to Vegas for Todd's BDay with Jason and Haley. The guys saw Collective Soul, their favorite band. It was a lot of fun and Max was sure a trooper! He loved the Vegas lights and the pool!

August...crazy but fun!

So I got to head up to Jackson for a few days and hang out with my family. It was nice to have some extra help with Max and have a little break, Thanks mom and dad!! While I was up there I got to spend the day with my good friend Jordan. She finally got to meet my little Max! We spend the day hangin out and we went for a fun hike together! It was beautiful! Later, we did her hair and went to dinner with our other good friend, Trevor. It was so fun to see them...it has been way too long!

Max was a little tuckered out!

Then, Todd had to make a quick unexpected trip to Idaho for his second to last flight exam...which he passed with flying colors!!!!!! Way to go sweetie!!!!! Anyway, he dropped me off in Twin Falls so me and Max could spend some time with my sister and cute nieces. We just played and played....red rover, freeze tag, hide and go seek, gymnastics, Koob, beauty shop, and duck duck goose. The girlies sang and danced for me while I fed Max. They are some good little performers! They also helped me feed Max, Kamber and Kendi especially....Kira was a little afraid that he might spit up on her!! :) haha! Kendi was so funny with Max..she would always point and him and say "baby". It was precious.

Thanks for letting us visit Leisel, we had lots of fun!!

Next, we headed to Island Park with our good friends Jay and Haley Call. We stayed at their parents beautiful cabin (well, we called it the Lodge since it was huge!) and had a blast!!! Isn't it beautiful?!?!

We hung out at the cabin and played ping pong on the deck in the day and hot tubbed by night...

I just wanted to thank all of the people who were sweet enough to take time to come visit our little Max while we were in the hospital....it made our 4 night stay much more enjoyable! And he should feel so loved!! He is one lucky baby to have so many great people in his life that love him!

I know I am a little late on this one but we have been a little preoccupied this past little bit. But I just wanted to wish all the amazing father's in my life a Happy Father's Day!!

First of course, my own wonderful, smart, loving, awesome dad...who has been a great father to me and the greatest Grandpa as well!!

Max Maylan Geddes

He has arrived via C section due to the fact that he was breech, (well actually transverse) and they tried to turn him but couldn't...on May 30 at 2:35am. A little unexpected but we sure are happy he is here! He is sooo precious and we can't get enough of him! He weighed 6lbs. 6oz. and was 20 inches long. Here are a few pics, there are more to come!

Getting ready for our Baby Boy!!

So, once again, it has taken me forever to blog again! I am 37 weeks pregnant and getting ready to pop! (well, at least it feels that way!) I have had a really busy past month. In the middle of April my mom and sisters put on a baby shower for me in Jackson. It was sooooo cute as you will see from the pictures. They spoiled me and my new little guy to death and as you can see below he has enough clothes now to last him a life time! This first picture is of everything, so cute!
They even had a candy bar with all kinds of different candies. They also had our baby pictures set out which was really fun!
...and the diaper cake. My favorite! It even had a husky on the top!
The cupcakes were amazing, well except the black frosting ones! But hey, they were black and white and cute as could be!
Thanks so much for doing this shower for me! It was so fun to get to see everyone I grew up with and have them be a part of this fun new adventure in my life! It turned out fabulous!

Next, I've just been so busy with work because I'm trying to get my hair clients all in before June! Todd has been very busy as well as he is working on his lesson plans so that he can start instructing next month. He has about 70 lesson plans to do so that is what he does every day for all hours of the day and night. I'm so excited that Whirlibirds (the school that he has been at learning to fly helicopters for the last year) has hired Todd, we feel sooo blessed! And he will start working probably right after the baby gets here! I'm so proud of you sweetie!

My mom also came down for a quick visit to get her hair done and hang out with Todd and I for the last time before we have another addition to our family! It was fun to have her here. We did a little last minute shopping to get the baby stuff all ready! And I think we did it. Finally, I feel somewhat organized and ready (well, I'm not so sure about the "ready" part). Anyway, right now we are waiting to see if our little guy is going to flip around before delivery since he is sitting breach right now. We really hope he turns otherwise I will be delivering on the 3rd of June(Just 2 weeks!!!) and it may come to a C section if the doctors don't get him to turn. So we are just hoping and praying that he just turns on his own!

So during all this, I got a call to do a little photo shoot for a store called "Little Cherry Blossoms". It is a little kids store and so cute! They wanted a pregnant lady for their advertisement that they will have on the front of the Hometown Values Magazine (it's a magazine that goes out to everyone in the Ogden area). I believe it comes out in July. So anyway, here are some pics from the shoot. The very first one is the one the owner of the store wanted on the cover. It was a lot of fun, I just showed up down there and they dressed me, gave me props, and took some fun pics! It is still weird to me how big I look and can't wait to get back to normal!! I'm just over 35 weeks in these pictures.

This one was one of my favorites... it was quite interesting shooting in the middle of a street with cars passing by both directions!

Well, I think I covered most everything. I'm still able to go hiking with my puppies and husband which is fun, but wow, it's getting harder every time! Next post will hopefully have pictures of my new little guy on here! We are looking forward to a very tough, but very exciting new chapter in our lives!

So my sister's old roommate, Jenny Rossi, moved up here from Texas and she does great photography! So we were so excited to have her do some maternity pic's for us...well I guess I should say "I" was excited. Todd is never too thrilled to be taking pictures, however, he sure makes the picture look cute!
I was glad I was able to get some taken just to remember the experience of this all! However, it isn't so fun to be getting pictures taken of yourself when you feel enormous!!...but she did an awesome job and they turned out really cute. I was 33 weeks and growing in these pictures :) Thanks sooooo much Rossi!!

March Madness!!

So I realize it's been a while since I posted anything, but the last month has been CRAZY! Right after we celebrated my mom's birthday and had the whole family down here, my cousin, Ashley and her fiance Don came for a visit. It was a lot of fun and we did quite a few things in the short time they were here. However, I couldn't do much of what we did since I'm preggo! But it was still a blast and we loved having them here. They brought their dog as well and our dogs got along great and played nonstop!

We took them on one of our favorite hikes up waterfall canyon.
Next, I had a double baby shower with my sister in law, Kristi. It was a lot of fun and all of the sisters from out of state even came up for it! We are only about a week apart!

Somewhere in all of this was my 25th birthday and a birthday to be remembered for sure! My mom and sister were down for the day so we went hiking and went to lunch.
Then that night, my hubby surprised me and took me to dinner and on a helicopter flight. I was his first passenger ever! It was so special to just be up flying around with my cute husband. Thanks sweetie for a great night!

...by the way, if you didn't notice, the helicopter we went in is super tiny...I have to admit, I was a little nervous at first!

Then, he had another surprise for me right after the baby shower. He took me to DISNEY ON ICE!!! I loved every minute of it! I felt like a little girl again and didn't want it to end. It was an awesome show! Wow, did I get spoiled or what?!

CARS was on of the best parts of the show...
They also did the Little Mermaid which was my favorite Disney movie growing up.
And of course, you can't forget the Lion King!
And the last part was the new Tinkerbell movie...
After all of this, we headed to California over our spring break. For Todd, it wasn't much of a spring break because he had a helicopter safety course that he had to take for most of the week. However, I sure had a good time and really enjoyed the sunny weather! My mom came down and we went shopping at the fun malls in California. We had a really fun time!

Then, Leisel and the girls came down for a day and a half and we went to the beach...
...And Disneyland!!!! Leisel got us all in for free thanks to "Give a Day, Get a Day" at Disney. She made like 6 quilts for all of us and that got us each a free ticket! Thanks Leisel!!
It was a REALLY hot day that day if you can't tell by the girlies red faces!

After California, Todd and I drove to Arizona to visit Todd's sister Julie and her family. Besides getting lost and stuck in traffic for 2 hours making it a 9 hour drive instead of a 6 hour drive, we had a fun filled 2 days. Julie took us hiking on a little mountain located in the middle of Phoenix. It was very hot, but lots of fun! We also saw the movie Alice and Wonderland and spent an afternoon at her Gym working out and swimming. We also played with our cute niece and nephew in the neighborhood with bikes and scooters...
They had just moved into this house and it was beautiful!!
Thanks Bryce and Julie for letting us come visit. We had a blast!!

And here I am at 30 weeks preggo to end this long blog... I'm getting huge, I know!!

Happy 60th MOM!!

So this past weekend, my sisters and I threw a surprise party for my mom's 60th birthday. It was a lot tougher then we thought to get her down here without knowing that the whole family would be here to surprise her! But, somehow, she made it down here and she was extremely surprised! We had a lot of fun just hangin out with the fam for Presidents day weekend, oh and Valentine's weekend!

We ate lots of good food, including Cold Stone cupcakes for her Birthday, her favorite!

We pulled the kiddies around our backyard on sleds, even though we don't have very much snow, they still loved every minute of it!

The girlies said Grandpa was the BEST puller because he is so strong!
The girls were all snuggled up ready for bed...
For Valentine's Day, I got my nieces and nephew some bubbles and they wanted to blow them all morning!

Grandpa, Todd, and I got to take Kira and Kamber downhill sledding one day too. Somehow we managed to find a perfect hill that still had some snow on it! The girls loved it and they were a lot braver then I thought they'd be!

Kinda Crazy...

So Thursday we found out that we are having a BOY!! YAAAAHHH!! We are so excited, but it is so crazy that I am far enough along to find out. I can't believe I am half way there! I have to admit, I was kind of relieved when I found out we were having a boy, girls can be such high maintenance!! HAHA! You know I love girls though! Anyway, just thought we would share our exciting news! Oh, and for those of you I told that we weren't going to find out, that went right out the window because I just NEEDED to know for my own sanity. It was all Todd's idea anyway!

A Big Belly Christmas...

So my Christmas break started off with a quick trip to Twin Falls to visit my sister and do some last minute shopping. I went up with my parents, Lexie, and Jaxon and we had a really fun time! The kids loved playing with Grandpa as you can see below...

We squeezed a lot into 2 days, we went swimming, shopping, played games, ate out, saw the new movie, "The princess and the Frog"(which I loved!) and just played around the hotel! My parents also set up a Christmas tree and we had a little mini Christmas with everyone! The kids loved it!

It was short but we had a lot of fun. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great time! And thank you so much for our amazing Christmas gifts, we are looking forward to using them shortly!

This year, we got to spend Christmas and New Years with Todd's family. We did a lot of fun things as well. Christmas Eve is always fun over at their house with 40 some people! Christmas Day, Todd and I made breakfast for part of the family and then went home and opened some presents, just the two of us...and our puppies. It was really a lot of fun. We played games later that night with Todd's family and laughed until we cried.

The rest of the week we did a few fun activities with the whole family including ice skating, skiing(well, not me!), sledding, basketball, and plenty more games. We spent New Years Eve their as well. Unfortunately on New Years Day, Todd spent the day throwing up along with 13 other people in Todd's family! That was definitely a bummer! But we still had a great time! Thanks Dave and Anavon for the many many meals you provided for us and the great entertainment!

Brittany, Todd and I also got up into the mountains hiking and cross country skiing. We hiked to waterfall twice, our favorite hike in the winter! It was beautiful as usual!

I got Todd some cross country ski's for Christmas and he couldn't wait to try them out! So we headed to Pineview Dam and skied around up there. It was a lot of fun!

Anyway, it was a very fun filled break and I'm sad to be back to everyday life. However, with 2010 comes Baby Geddes! What a new adventure to look forward to!

Kaya turned 3 years old on the 29th of December! She is getting so big! She has been so fun to have around! She has so much energy and we can't seem to keep up with her! When she was a puppy and we didn't have Kiwi around, we used to have to take her to the cemetary across the street every night and let her just run to get some energy out. Luckily, Kiwi helps with that now. Over the last year she has definitely gotten more attached to us. For the longest time, she was always so busy she didn't have time to worry about us...however, she is now very attached and cries when we leave her. She loves to hike, bike, run, eat and play. She also loves the snow, she is definitely a dog meant for the snow!! She rolls in it every chance she gets!

Her howl is my absolute favorite. Evey morning when we let her in, she says hello with her sweet howl. And did I mention, she was the cutest puppy ever?!? We love her so much, Happy birthday Kaya!!

Turkey Day in the Hole!!

So we just got back from a great trip to Jackson Hole for Thanksgiving. We got there Thursday and came home Sunday... so it was a good little getaway for us! The food was great and it was good to spend time with my parents, sister, brother in law, and cute cute nephew! We even got to surprise the family on Thanksgiving ...

We had our cute puppies dress up and tell everyone our exciting news...that we are expecting a little baby in June! We are a little nervous, but way excited. To make the day even better, we found out that Todd's sister Kristi, is expecting a baby due a week after me! We are really happy for them and very excited our little one will have a cousin his same age(Notice I said "his"...that's just what I call it, since we won't be finding out the sex of the baby!)!!
Anyway, we had lot's of fun except for the fact that I didn't feel so great, as usual, so I probably wasn't so much fun to be around! But still, we had a blast and thanks mom and dad for everything! You always make our stay so enjoyable! Mom, the Christmas lights look fabulous as usual! Love you ALL!!

Well, Halloween was quite a hit... Our party ended up going really well and we had an awesome turnout. We ended up going as smurfs which was really fun because Todd and I both loved the smurf's when we were little!

Somehow, we got our costumes to turn out pretty good too. I even SEWED my own hat, if you can believe that! The only thing that really sucked about the costumes was the face paint. By the end of the night, it was dry and cracking! But it was fun while it lasted!

We also had great decorations at the party, we went all out! Us and two other couples made this haunted house for the background of our pictures. It turned out pretty cute if you ask me!

Logan Volleyball Tournament!

So a few weeks ago, I got to do one of my all time favorite things, play volleyball! And the best part was, we got to play a little over 20 games! It was sooo fun, everyone played really well. The crazy thing was that BOTH Andie and I sprained our left ankles a week before the tournament. She did hers playing volleyball at least, while there's me, spraining it hiking!! Anyway, it was very bad luck, however, we both were able to play!! So no complaints there!

Margit, one of the players on the team, got us these free team Tshirts to wear from her friend who owns "XBALM"... It is a lipbalm. Anyway, it was a great time and we ended up placing third, even though we should've got second since we beat the 2nd place team!! They had quite a weird setup for this tournament! But good times anyway, thanks girls for a great weekend! GO XBALM!

Ok, so I am a day late, but it was my Dad's birthday yesterday and I wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday! We got to spend some time with him this weekend and he even got to watch me play in my volleyball tournament! Thanks for watching dad!! It was like old times! Jackson Hole

So this past weekend, Todd and I were able to head to Jackson for the weekend. I must say, IT WAS FREEEEEZZZINGGGG!!! I think I forgot how cold it gets up there considering I haven't lived there for a while. Anyway, it was a quick weekend but we had a lot of fun.

We drove up Friday night and it ended up being a complete white out on the drive up...what an adventure! Anyway, when we got there my sweet parents had dinner waiting for us. Unfortunately they came to help us load some stuff in and one of their dogs decided dinner looked way too good to just sit there! So she helped herself and ate about half the yummy meat that was freshly cooked. It was pretty funny. And yes, we still got to enjoy a lovely meal!

Saturday, we were lucky enough to receive an oven and refrigerator from my grandparents house. My dad helped us load it up and then he treated us to a yummy dinner where we were able to watch a baby moose eat, out the window! Thanks dad!! That night we played some games with my mom, sorry I beat you mom, better luck next time!!! Just kidding!! :)

Sunday we took off back for home with a lovely leather chair my parents decided to give us as well. We were all loaded up with all sorts of furniture! The dogs really enjoyed the chair on the way home, they fought over it until about half way home when they decided to share it!!! It was priceless!! Kaya laid in the chair and Kiwi laid right on top of her!

So it's been a while since I've been able to blog so I have a little catching up to do. Just this past Friday we had a little Birthday bash for Todd up on some property in Morgan Utah. I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said, "Shoot my guns!" So we went shooting and later had a campfire. It was a lot of fun!

Dave and Melissa Stevenson came with us, good friends from our ward, and she is 6 months pregnant!

A couple weeks ago we also got to go four wheeling and dirtbiking up on some property that this couple in our Bishopric owns. The Boyers are awesome! We also brought Sam and Melissa Bates and had a great time gettin' dirty...as you can see below...

Happy Birthday Kiwi!!

Happy birthday to my little Kiwi! She turns 2 years old today, or in dog years, 14! I know, I know, just a dog, but if you follow my blog at all, they are a big part of my life. She has been the easiest dog, even when she was a puppy. I think that is because she has always had Kaya to keep her busy. She is a very quiet dog, rarely do we ever hear any noise out of her. We were hoping she would howl like Kaya, but most the time she is just mute. That is what makes her so cute though. She is so beautiful and so snuggly, which is my favorite thing about her. Even though she weighs about 55 lbs. she still lets me snuggle with her. And man, is she strong. She can run for hours, she can jump so high, she is just a workhorse if you ask me! However, when we are at home, she really just likes to sleep! But once she hears those leashes, she is bounding across the room!

This is on our way home from picking her up. She was only 6 weeks old!

It has been interesting to see her colors change from the time she was a puppy until now!

Florida!!!

This trip was awesome! Todd and I got to see and do so many things!! The first few days we stayed in Orlando. The first day we had to do one of those time share presentations...that is why our trip was so cheap!! Anyway, that was the worst part of the whole trip! I was glad to have that done with! Then we headed to Universal Studios...it was a blast! They had some fun rollercoasters there and just crazy fun rides!

At night, behind us is what they called "City Walk". It had all sorts of shopping, clubs, and restaurants.

The second day in Orlando we went to Disney World's "Magic Kingdom". If you didn't know, Disney World has 4 parks connected to it so we had to choose which one to go to and of course I wanted to go to Classic Disney!

I was a little excited!

The castle at the entrance...it was beautiful!!! This was probably the hottest day there... I was literally dripping sweat for most of it. So we brought our swimsuits so we could hit all the water rides!!

Captain Hook and Smee... we took this just before we went on Pirates of the Caribbean which was excellent!!

This was in front of the Haunted Mansion....very cool ride if you ask me!

And of course, it's a small world after all!

They had a fun Disney show going on most of the day. Throughout the show, many of the different Disney characters came out. It was so fun to watch, I felt like a little kid again!

And probably one of the best parts of the trip, we got to see Cirque Du Soleil that night. It was amazing!!!!!!! And it was even better because Todd hadn't seen a show by them before. It was unreal!

The next day was kind of a travel day. We had to drive three hours to get to the Port where our cruise took off from. Then boarding the cruise took so many hours! By the time we got to eat something, it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon! Not to mention, we got lost so many times trying to find the Port. However, it was well worth it for the next day....

The BAHAMAS!!!!!!

We decided to rent a scooter that day, because we were only there one day, we had to get everything in!! So we spent the day cruising around the island looking at everything we could see. It was so beautiful, the water was a perfect turqoise and it was so clear you could see down to the bottom!

We cruised over to The Atlantis in the later part of the day. This was one of the biggest resorts I have ever seen! It was a whole island by itself! It had it's own private beach even. You can kind of see part of it behind us in this picture below...

And we finally made it to the beach! Woohoo! The beach was awesome...we even rented some jetski's and went out to two different islands. It was fun to jetski in the ocean, so many fun waves to jump!

We had to be back on the cruise that night. We were so sad to leave!! However, we did have a fun night on the ship. There was some good food and good entertainment that night!

The next day we got off the cruise and headed to Fort Lauderdale where we stayed on Deerfield Beach. It was very relaxing. We were pretty pooped buy this part of the trip. So we spent our days on the beach and our nights at a great restaurant on the beach!

One night we went out on the Pier. There were so many fisherman out there it was crazy! They just set up camp on the pier and bring their families and just catch fish all night!

At the beach...we snorkeled, played in the 90 degree water, and played some beach volleyball! One day we were out in the ocean when it was raining...that was pretty neat because it was still so warm!

After the rain came, came a beautiful rainbow. I couldn't resist taking this picture.. I mean come on, a rainbow and palm trees?! My favorite!

This was the best restaurant. Aruba was located right on the beach, it had a live band, and great shrimp!! I am officially a shrimp lover now!!

Kind of Like Heaven...

This last Friday, Todd and I had the opportunity to hike to the Peak of Mt. Timpanogos with Todd's sister, Kristi and her husband Maurice. Maurice brought his brother Jerome also. This hike was a total of about 15 miles and it took us about 9 hours total. The peak is at about 11,750 ft in elevation, so it was quite a steep hike. There were beautiful waterfalls along the way and so many different sceneries! We saw quite a few mountain goats also. This is a view of what we were hiking up, you can see the peak in the very far back, it is the 2nd tallest in Utah!! Behind us, you can see what we just climbed up! About half way up, it opened up into this big bowl with a huge field! It was beautiful! The flowers were gorgous! There was quite a few glaciers that we found the closer we got to the top. The dogs LOVED the snow! They ate it, rolled in it, and slid down hills in it, it was hilarious! You can see the peak that we had to get to behind this hill! This was up on the ridge walking over to the peak, or I guess I should say "climbing" to the peak! It was SO incredibly windy at the top...as my shirt shows! We were at the peak in this picture and you can see Emerald Lake where we stopped to eat lunch...it looks so far away! There was a little shack at the top here, everyone signed a book to show that you made it all the way to the top! We were a little excited we made it to the top! However, I have to admit, it was scary up there, especially cause it was so windy! Thrilled by our accomplishment!....6 hours from the bottom!! It was raining once we finally reached the top, but it made a great view! In the little shack at the top... The best part of the whole hike! We got to slide down a glacier from the top. It was close to 1000 ft. that we slid down. It was really steep and really cold! The dogs slid down it too and it was the cutest thing ever! Here it is!! you can see our trail that we made all the way down! This is in front of Emeral Lake My very smart husband and our brother in law decided to jump in the lake even though there was snow all around it!! And we made it down... 3 hours down...a total of 9 hours!!! Thanks for inviting us to hike it guys! We've always wanted to!! It was something we will never forget!

Ward Campout:Lava Hot Springs

So this campout was about a month ago, but I haven't had the time to make this post! Todd and I are the activity directors of our Ward so this was quite the job to put all of it together... however, it turned out awesome!! We did so much in the 2 days and 2 nights we were there. We went to the pools, where my huband did a backflip off the third platform!!! He is so crazy, I don't know how he does it!

Crimson Trail Hike!

So since Todd and I, as well as Kiwi and Kaya, LOVE to hike, we got the chance to try out a new trail up the Logan Canyon. Todd's sister, Kristi, and her husband, are up in Ogden for the month of August. So they invited us to go up hiking with them and some other family and friends. It was a very cool trail, you hiked right along the edge of what they call, "The China Wall". I have to admit, I was playing the "worried mom" the whole time afraid my dogs might slip and fall off the edge!! I know, I know, dogs are probably smarter then humans when it comes to that stuff... as you will see in the pictures of Todd and our brother in law, Mo.

Playin' in the Hole

2 weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go play for a week in Jackson with my family. It was so fun and we got to do a lot of fun things! Playing with my nieces and nephew was so fun. We had a Birthday party for all of them the first night and boy, did they get spoiled! My mom and sisters and I made some really cute cupcakes for the party too.

We made it down to the Ranch on Saturday. It was hard to be there without my Grandma and Grandpa but it was still good to be down there playin' in the creek again!

My two nieces, Kira and Kamber, love the song, "Single Ladies" by Beyonce.... so I decided we should do a lipsync, something I always did growing up! Leisel helped sew us some quick, but very cute, costumes. Then we performed for the fam...

Thanks mom and dad for a super fun week! I loved going to the play (Thanks Dad!!) and all the food was excellent as usual!

5 years...Wo!

Ok so I realize I am a few weeks late on this but I just haven't gotten around to it. On June 19, Todd and I hit our 5 year mark!! It's kind of weird because it still seems like we have only been married for about 2 years. We have done a lot together in the last 5 years. We added to our family(2 dogs anyway...),finally figured out what to graduate in, and played...lots and lots!

Todd and I decided that we will do something fun for our 5 year anniversary but it won't happen until August because we have been so busy! However, we did go to the Drive-in the night of our Anniversary...one of our favorite things to do in the summer!

Anyway, just thought I'd put a few pictures up of our wedding day. Kinda crazy how different we look only 5 years ago!

My Sweet Grandma May

My Grandma May passed away recently on June 5, 2009. She was 90 years old and will truly be missed. My sisters and I had the opportunity to put together her life sketch and give it at the funeral. Throughout this process I was able to learn so many neat things about my Grandma that I never knew. I'm so glad I learned all of these wonderful things about her, it made me love her even that much more. The funeral service was amazing and I think she would have loved it! Not only were there a ton of beautiful flowers, which are one of her favorite things, but most everyone she loved was there.

I will miss my Grandma so much and everything that comes with her... her happy cheerful smiles, her love for everyone and of course the Ranch that she will always be a part of.

This isn't me, it is my cousin Ashley, but it is one of my favorites! It is how I picture my Grandparents... out on the ranch, pushing us on the swinging gate.

I think one of the hardest parts for me was seeing my Grandpa alone. He has been married to my Grandma for 67 years! Isn't that amazing?! Anyway, I hope we can all make him feel loved while he lives these last years of his life without Grandma by his side.

I will always be there to cut his hair when he needs me too!!

It was nice to see my dad's side of the family... we rarely get to see our cousins. This is most of the family, minus a few.

We also got to spend some time with our cousins a few of the nights we were in Jackson... it was sooo good to finally see them! My Grandma would have been so happy to see us all hanging out together because she always wanted her grandkids to be the best of friends! We love you Grandma May!

We Love to Play!!

This past week we got to have our cute nieces, Kira and Kamber, come stay and play with us for about 4 days. It was a blast! We never stopped playing. The girls loved Todds big Red truck and loved riding in it, as you can see...

They also loved taking bubble baths... so we took one almost every night!

We also got to take the girls to see the movie "Up" at the drive in. They had so much fun playing in the back of the truck with all the pillows and blankets! Todd also brought some Rocket balloons to the drive In. While we were waiting for the movie to start, we played rocket balloons with the girls and they chased them all over the parking lot. They ended up being the center of attention...everyone at the movie ended up watching them because they were so stinkin cute!

They loved our back yard and and ate breakfast every morning outside on our picnic table where they drank their juice and played with the puppies.

We also went to the Roy Aquatic Center and their favorite slide was the "frog slide" and they probably went down it 100 times... at least!!

We also took the girls for a hike in the mountains the first day they were here. Every day after, the girls would point at the mountain and say, "We were just on that mountain!". Kira also caught a caterpillar and she was so brave to hold it!

The girls favorite part was feeding the ducks. So we probably went to feed them about 3 times and they had to show their mommy when she got to town how they fed the ducks!

We always had to read stories at night before we went to bed. The girls even read some stories to me! They are very good readers!!

I took the girls to the Treehouse Museum on Saturday and they loved it!! There was a lot of fun stuff for them to do. They loved the big chess set! I think there favorite were the Dr. Suess computer games!

Shane, Lexie and Jaxon came down to play with us on Saturday. We went to the zoo first and then had a little mini party for Lexie's Birthday that night with some pizza from the Pizza Factory.

It was so cute...Kendi loved the dogs and the dogs loved Kendi! Well, Kiwi was a little afraid of her and unsure but warmed right up to her. Kaya was so fascinated by her and just laid right by her whenever she was on the floor.

Sunday night before Leisel and the girls left, we went to Todd's parents house to jump on the tramp and swing on their swings for a while. The girls loved the trampoline!

This was quite the experience for Todd and I. We loved every minute of it. We kind of got a glimpse of what it will be like to have a few kids some day. After this past week, I think we are both really excited! Thanks Brandon and Leisel for letting us borrow your cute girlies!

So we finally decided to get some family pictures taken... I know, I know, my dogs are not my kids but they do make the pictures look a lot cuter!!! As you can tell, I have them in all of my favorites. I am waiting to get a hold of all the rest, where there are a few funnier pictures, but these were probably the best ones. I mean it has been five years since we got married, I think its time we replace most of our wedding pictures!!

Waterfall Canyon!

So we decided to go check out one of our favorite hikes this weekend because supposedly the waterfall is very big this time of the year. As you will see below, it is very big!

I had to get a picture of how green everything was from up here!!

Todd wanted a picture of me because I looked like mechanical women with my new thumb brace and my knee brace on!! I'm slowly falling apart!

This is the puppies favorite thing in the world! They were having a blast!

It was so crazy when you get to the top right up by the waterfall, you feel like you are in a rain storm! Its crazy how cold it is right by that huge waterfall! Once again, Kaya and Kiwi loved it and it cooled them right down!

2 on 2 Volleyball tournament

Yesterday, I got to play in another Outdoor Volleyball tournament. It was just 2 on 2 and so fun! It was perfect weather for it and we ended up taking 3rd place in the whole tournament! We won some gift cards to Target and got a bag and a Tshirt. I do have quite the sunburn though, I mean we were in the sun playing volleyball for like 8 hours! It doesn't get much better than that!! Anyway, below are some pics of us playing and a picture of me and my partner. We also brought my partners daughter and her friend who ended up getting 1st place in the tournament! It was a great day!!

Fun Filled Weekend!

Just a quick update...My husband just finished up the Spring semester at Weber State. He starts again this week for the summer semester. I know, I know, who knows if we will ever not be in school?!! But Hey! We're making the best out of it while it lasts. We're comin up on 5 years this June....WOW! Does time fly or what?! Anyway, we had a fun filled weekend with a whole lot of XMEN! Brittany, Todd's little sister came home from school for the weekend and we had a blast playin with her. Friday night we went down to Salt Lake with her to eat at Todd's favorite restaurant, Litza's Pizza. After that we went to see "Wolverine"... The very beginning of X-Men. Then Saturday morning, she came with us to Body Pump, my favorite exercise class of the week(Todd even likes it!). Then later that night we convinced Dave and Anavon, Todds parents, to watch ALL three of the X-Men! His mom was hilarious, jumpin all over the place every time anything moved!We managed to eat too much during the movies as well including, caramel popcorn, frosties from Wendy's, and fudgsicles from their freezer!

Oh and I forgot to mention, before we went to dinner Friday night, Todd and I decided to visit the new Draper Temple! It was beautiful!!

I wore white Go Go boots on my wedding day and loved every minute of it!

I like rock music . . . I just decided today in the car that it is my favorite type of music!!
I love exercise classes!
My first kiss was in 7th grade . . . I'm not sure my family knew that . . . oops . . . (it was just a peck!!)
I have 26 nieces and nephews!

I have never broken a bone before!! Knock on wood!!!
For work, I do hair, work as a dental assistant, and coach volleyball.

In seventh grade, I was voted the "most average seventh grader". How in the world do you take that one??
I was homecoming queen my senior year of high school . . . I'm not sure how that came about. A lot of people thought that I was stuck up!
At one point, I had the school record for shooting 3-pointers. However, I'm sure it's long gone!
I had a ropes course at my school and it was a class I was able to take for 3 years of high school. It was soooooo fun! Man, I used to be brave!
My date to my Junior Prom was my best friend, Jordan (who is a girl, by the way!)

I love to wear black and white. I think white is actually my favorite color (just like my niece, Kamber!! . . or at least that is what she told me last time I was with her! :)

I love tropical anything! My wedding was a tropical theme and we got to wear fresh leis from Hawaii at our reception.

Leis don't feel bad. I didn't get food at either of my receptions and I still hear how great the "beef sticks in Jackson" were.
Our wedding cake in Ogden was nasty tasting. Todd shoved it in my mouth and I about spit it right back out!

I never had to have braces! Woo hoo! Well, it's a good thing my teeth were somewhat straight, cause I don't think it was in the plan for me to get braces anyway!
Whenever my sisters and I would play beauty pageant, I always won . . . or should I say they would always let me win . . . I don't like to lose . . .
My family and I are one of the most competitive people I know, especially when it comes to board games . . . oops.

My husband peed on my dog's head when she was a puppy, and not knowing it, I picked her up and kissed her on the head, not knowing she had just been peed on. My husband started laughing soooo hard and said, "I thought it would help her learn how if I peed with her!"

I ran all the way up Snow King mountain during volleyball tryouts. Impressive for me!! I'm not a runner.
When it comes to sports, I will do anything to win. I am very motivated when playing volleyball or basketball. However, when it comes to other things, not so motivated all the time . . .
I have 10 brother-in-laws and 9 sister-in-laws.
I loved swinging in the barn on my grandparent's ranch growing up. Oh wait! I still do!

I am still afraid of worms. I don't know if I will ever get over that fear.
I peed my pants while riding piggyback on my best friend, Jordan's back. I bribed her so she wouldn't tell anyone!
I took piano lessons when I was little. I can barely play at all, anymore.
Both of my sisters got sewing lessons and I never did. I'm handicapped in that area.
I love riding roller coasters, especially the one in Las Vegas in the New York, New York hotel.

I loved to play Barbies when I was little. I remember begging Lexie, my older sister, to play with me instead of reading . . .
I played on a coed softball team 2 summers ago and played catcher. It was super fun!!

When I was in high school, I could do 45 push-ups on my toes very easily. Now, it's not even close to that!
I bench pressed 125 lbs. in my weightlifting class in high school . . . yes, I was proud of myself back then.

My dogs are pretty much the sweetest thing ever. They both have their own cute personalities. Kaya is one year and 4 months, while Kiwi is about 9 months old. Kaya is definitly more well behaved but she has so much energy, I cannot keep up with her. When she gets excited she howls, which is my favorite sound to hear in the morning, she is just saying Hello! I think she has nine lives. When she was a puppy, she got out and was hit by a car, she had major problems with her front legs, and just recently she escaped out of the yard, luckily we found her before she was killed. We're lucky we stille have her! Kiwi is the younger one but much more sleepy. She is always sleeping! She is so sweet and loves to have her belly scratched. She is a lot fatter than Kaya and has a much thicker coat of fur. She has yet to howl, but does make her own unique whiney sounds. They love to play with each other. They sleep outside at night and that is when they do their majority of playing. They LOVE to go hiking where they can let loose and run like the wind! They are very good dogs, with very little barking. They are so friendly with all people, kids, and other dogs. Because of this, they are not very good guard dogs (Supposedly they would go lick the burglar to death instead of bark and growl at him). What sweet dogs!
